Use a paddle or stick when preparing the spray solution.
Use a funnel to fill spray tanks.
Don't use empty containers for any storage purpose.
Always spray in the direction of wind.
Clean blocked nozzles with a thin needle.
Do not drink, eat, smoke or chew tobacco while spraying.
Do not attempt to repair faulty sprayers yourself. Consult a mechanic.
If cloths are soiled by pesticides, the cloths and body should be washed thoroughly.
Don't allow children to spray pesticides.
Don't keep food articles near area of spraying.
After spraying, remove and wash contaminated clothing and yourself with soap and water.
In case of accidental poisoning, seek medical attention immediately.
Handover the pesticide container or leaflet to the doctor.
Appropriate medical care should be provided.
Destroy containers after use and bury them away from water sources.
Always take a bath after spraying.
Proper care should be taken to protect the environment.
A board should be established at the field indicating usage of pesticides.
